A small volumetric extension completely redesigns a building in an abandoned military area in the Venetian hinterland, subjected to a monumental constraint and already the subject of a restyling project. In order not to alter the regularity of the settlement, the new volume is placed in continuity with the existing one and characterized by the cut of the groundwater. The asymmetric protrusion of the roof draws a new transparent facade, bounded by a large window that draws new access to the building.
Un piccolo ampliamento volumetrico ridisegna completamente un edificio in un'area militare dismessa nell'entroterra veneziano, sottoposta a vincolo monumentale e già oggetto di un progetto di restyling. Per non alterare la regolarità insediativa, il nuovo volume è posto in continuità con quello esistente e caratterizzato in testata dal taglio delle falde. La sporgenza asimmetrica della copertura disegna una nuova facciata trasparente, delimitata da una grande vetrata che disegna il nuovo accesso all'edificio.
