Treviso
2014-2018
The project redesigns an open space, highly deteriorated, on the bastion of Treviso’s sixteenth-century Walls, belonging to Carlton Hotel. The natural stone paving (opus incertum porphyry and archite) has a continuous and material effect, that exploits the space’s circular shape. The difference in level gives shape to a garden with terraces. The choice of materials, colors and plants emphasizes the view of Walls, fading the hotel’s building, but in the mean time introduces in the place a contemporary architectural language.
